Our world runs on STEM. From life-saving medicine, to cutting-edge AI, to complex industrial machinery. Our classes are led by REAL SCIENTISTS: students gain hands-on experiences with real-world tech, creative problem-solving skills, and the confidence to shape the future.

Course content

We run weekly 1-h workshops for small groups (3-7 children). Every week presents a new challenge, where students
will complete a new project and take their creation back home. See our social media for countless examples of our fun workshops. Below is a boring list that can’t quite capture the see-touch-understand process of discovering science.

Build a physics-powered lunar lander
Looks at plants and animals under a miscroscope
Solve medical myseries as diagnosis detectives
Build and understand models of bridges and buildings
Test chemical composition of water samples from across Canberra
Grow your own microorganisms
Study leafs and insects under a microscope
Use AI tools to build games and applications
Build a functional battery with lemons

Years 3-6: Wednesday 4:00 pm

For kids who are curious about science or don’t yet realise that they are.Exciting hands-on experiments develop curiosity, knowledge and critical scientific thinking.

Years 7+: Wednesdays 6:00 pm

For students who want to get hands-on experience with science, learn about modern real-world applications, and develop sharp scientific and statistical thinking.
