Speak Up: confidence and communication
Purpose
Communication is consistently rated as the number one skill for success, regardless of age, social background, or career choice.
Helping children communicate well from an early age sets them up for lifelong success. Schools rarely help kids practise these skills, and today’s digital world can make meaningful face-to-face communication even rarer. We help children build confidence and strong communication skills so they can express themselves clearly, connect with others, and thrive in any social setting.
Who is this course for?
Speak Up is designed to help students overcome communication challenges, build confidence, and learn effective techniques for speaking and presenting in front of an audience.

Curriculum
Tailored for every stage
Speak Up groups have 3-7 students of similar age that engage in tasks, games, and activities appropriate for their level.
Years 3-6
- Tell greatstories and make strong arguments
- Confidently speak with body and eyes
- Listen to your mates and be heard yourself
Years 7+
- Preprare and deliver confident presentations
- Develop team leadership and negotiation skills
- Learn to improvise well; be preapred for tricky scenarious
